Winner of eight Emmy Awards, the series followed the life of Midge Maisel which, when her life takes a surprise turn, has to quickly decide what else she’s good at and going from housewife to stand-up comic is a wild choice to everyone but her.

They are seeking late 1950s & early 1960s types. Men must be okay getting a 1950s haircut and being clean shaven. Women must have shoulder length hair or shorter or be willing to have it cut by our hair dept. Women must have natural hair color, no highlights, weaves, braids, bayalage, ombre or wear a wig. For women the hairstyles they are specifically looking for are pixie cuts, bobs, long bobs, and shoulder length.

All must be comfortable working around atmospheric smoke. No wool allergies.

The series will film in NYC from mid-March through September 2019. Talent will be asked to attend a wardrobe fitting in Brooklyn before work date.
