A new ABC pilot titled “RJ Decker” is now filming in Wilmington, North Carolina, and casting directors are currently seeking local extras for several featured background roles.
Based on the book by Carl Hiaasen, RJ Decker is a one-hour drama that could go to series if the pilot moves forward.

According to ABC, the story follows:
RJ Decker, a disgraced newspaper photographer and ex-con, who starts over as a private investigator in the colorful—but crime-filled—world of South Florida.
He takes on cases that range from slightly odd to outright bizarre, assisted by:
– his journalist ex,
– her police detective wife, and
– a shadowy benefactor from his past who may be his greatest ally… or his one-way ticket back to prison.

- 🎽 You must be able to provide your own wardrobe based on guidelines that will be sent if you’re booked.
- 🧥 Some roles may require a wardrobe fitting before the shoot.
- ⏰ Call time, exact filming location, and wardrobe notes will be emailed the day prior to filming.
- ⏳ Filming days can last up to 12+ hours, so submit only if you can fully commit.
