Historical Drama “A Land Remembered” Hiring Actors in Florida

A historical TV project titled “A Land Remembered” is currently filming in Tampa, Florida, and casting directors are now seeking paid actors for specific roles.

Based on the bestselling novel by Patrick D. Smith, the series portrays life in Florida during the 1700s and 1800s, including scenes set during the Civil War era.

👦 Role 1: Boys (Slave Role)

• Black boys, ages 6–12
• 📅 Filming Date: April 29, 2026
• 💵 Rate: $225 / 12 hours (+ 1-hour meal)
• 📍 Location: San Antonio (outer Tampa area)

📌 Requirements:

• ✂️ Very short natural hair (no modern styles or braids)
• 🎭 Will portray enslaved individuals in a historical setting
• 🚫 Must be comfortable wearing period-appropriate wardrobe

🪖 Role 2: Soldiers

• Black men, ages 18–35
• 📅 Filming Date: April 28, 2026
• 💵 Rate: $225 / 12 hours (+ 1-hour meal)
• 📍 Location: San Antonio (outer Tampa area)

📌 Requirements:

• ✂️ No modern hairstyles or braids
• 🎭 Will portray Civil War soldiers in battle scenes

• 📸 Photos must reflect current appearance (no filters, hats, or sunglasses)
