SLO REP Announces Open Auditions for the 2026/2027 Season

San Luis Obispo Repertory Theatre, also known as SLO REP, has officially opened general auditions for its 2026/2027 season.

Located in downtown San Luis Obispo, SLO REP is a long-running community theatre company with a rich history of producing plays, musicals, youth programs, and educational workshops for the Central Coast arts community.

Founded in 1947, the theatre continues to present a wide range of productions each year, including classic works, contemporary plays, musicals, and family-friendly programming.

SLO REP is currently inviting local actors to audition for consideration in productions throughout the upcoming season. Performers of all experience levels are encouraged to submit or attend.

Audition Options

Actors may choose between in-person auditions or digital submissions.

What to Prepare

Applicants should prepare the following materials:

✅ A contemporary monologue, 90–120 seconds
✅ A current headshot
✅ A résumé
✅ Optional: a short song sample for actors interested in musical productions

These general auditions will allow SLO REP to consider actors for multiple productions during the 2026/2027 season.
