On Location Casting is now seeking real experienced calligraphers for featured background work on the Netflix series Free Bert. This casting opportunity is for talent in the Atlanta, Georgia area and surrounding locations.

Applicants must be able to work as local hires. Transportation, travel, and accommodations will not be provided. Talent may live out of state, but only if they are within a reasonable self-drive distance to Atlanta and surrounding rural areas.

Exact dates are still to be determined. Applicants should have full-day and evening availability for any dates they submit for, as call and wrap times have not yet been confirmed. A fitting may also be required on a date to be announced.

Role Being Cast

Casting female Asian talent, ages 18 and older, with authentic calligraphy experience.

The production is looking for experienced calligraphers with strong penmanship and advanced calligraphy skills. Applicants should be comfortable performing their craft on camera if requested.

Calligraphy styles may include:

✅ Modern calligraphy
✅ Decorative lettering
✅ Cultural calligraphy styles
✅ Specialty hand-lettering work
