STREB Extreme Action is now accepting audition submissions for paid company performer positions in New York City. The company is looking for bold, physically skilled performers who are ready to take on high-impact movement, extreme acrobatics, and powerful live performance work.

This opportunity is open to dancers, acrobats, athletes, circus performers, and movers with strong physical ability and a passion for action-based performance. Selected performers will be considered for company contracts beginning September 8, 2026.

Known for its intense and highly physical performance style, STREB Extreme Action pushes the boundaries of dance, athletics, circus, and stunt-inspired movement. Performers should be prepared for demanding choreography that may include heights, impact, falls, and extreme physical activity.

Performer Requirements

STREB is looking for performers who are confident, athletic, and comfortable with intense physical work. Candidates should be prepared for:

✅ Fast-paced movement and action-based performance

Strong dance technique, tumbling, trampoline experience, and/or diving experience are considered a plus.

Paid Company Opportunity

This is a paid performance opportunity. STREB offers approximately 30 weeks of work per year, including paid rehearsal, performances, and touring.

The company’s upcoming fall season includes a three-week run at the New Victory Theater in NYC. Performers also receive a body work stipend each contract, and annual pay increases may be offered based on years of service.

Pay details include:

🎭 Local performances start at $80/day
