“Chicago Fire” New Season Now Casting Paid Extras in Chicago

NBC’s hit drama “Chicago Fire” is back in production for its new season, and casting directors are now booking local talent to work as paid background actors.

The long-running series is part of Dick Wolf’s popular One Chicago television universe. Produced by Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf, the show follows the intense personal and professional lives of the firefighters, paramedics, and rescue workers at the fictional Firehouse 51.

Set and filmed in the Chicago area, “Chicago Fire” gives viewers a dramatic look at the brave first responders who face dangerous emergencies, emotional challenges, and life-changing decisions every day. The show’s success helped launch other popular spin-offs, including “Chicago P.D.” and “Chicago Med.”

For the new season, casting directors are looking for men and women from Chicago, the suburbs, and surrounding border states to Illinois. Applicants should only submit if they are local to the area and fully available for the listed filming date.
