Paid Background Roles Available for “Chicago P.D.” in Chicago

NBC’s hit police procedural drama “Chicago P.D.” is currently in production in the Chicagoland area and is now accepting submissions for paid background roles.

The casting team is collecting general availability for Episode 14002 and is looking for background actors who live within the Chicagoland area. Please note that applicants must be local, as travel costs will not be provided.

The adult background rate is a flat rate for any time worked up to 8 hours, with time-and-a-half paid after 8 hours. Teens ages 16 and older will receive the adult background rate.

Applicants must be fully available for any date they submit. Filming days are typically long and may last 8–12 hours, with call times often scheduled early in the morning.

Availability Dates

The casting team is asking applicants to list all available dates between:

Filming takes place Monday through Friday only. Weekend filming is not expected.

Important note: Do not list a date as available if you have any time restrictions. You must be available for the entire day.

Applicants must provide photos of all tattoos visible while wearing a short-sleeve T-shirt. This includes tattoos on the face, neck, arms, hands, and fingers.
