Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Open Auditions Coming to Tampa in 2026

Tampa-area singers and dancers have an exciting opportunity to audition for cruise ship entertainment roles in 2026.

Open auditions will be held for Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, giving performers the chance to be considered for professional entertainment contracts aboard luxury cruise ships around the world.

The auditions will take place at NCLH Shows & Experiences – Creative Studios in Riverview, Florida.

Who Can Audition?

The casting team is looking for strong performers who are ready to work in high-energy cruise ship productions. Roles are available for vocalists, production dancers, and singer/dancers.

Performers of all ethnicities are encouraged to attend.

Vocalist Roles

Tenor / Bari-Tenor Vocalists

🎤 Age range: 20s to 30s
📏 Height range: 5’8” to 6’2”
🌎 Ethnicity: All ethnicities
🎶 Vocal type: Bari-tenor / tenor

These performers should be dynamic singers who can move comfortably between musical genres. The casting team is looking for excellent pop, rock, R&B, and Motown sensibility.

Vocal and performance references include Bruno Mars, Elton John, Maroon 5, Rascal Flatts, and Stevie Wonder.

Applicants should prepare two songs from the provided audition selections and bring a current headshot and resume. Some vocalists may be asked to stay and dance, so performers should bring form-fitting dancewear.

Mezzo / Belter Vocalists

🎤 Age range: 20s to 30s
📏 Height range: 5’3” to 5’9”
🌎 Ethnicity: All ethnicities
🎶 Vocal type: Mezzo with strong belt

The production is seeking showstopping performers with leading-lady presence and the ability to move across musical styles. Strong pop, rock, and contemporary musical theater ability is required, with a strong belt up to F5.

Vocal and performance references include Little Mix, Aretha Franklin, Carrie Underwood, Tina Turner, and Adele.

Applicants should prepare two songs from the provided audition selections and bring a current headshot and resume. Select vocalists may be asked to stay for a dance portion, so bring form-fitting dancewear and heels if invited.

Production Dancers

The casting team is also seeking strong, athletic dancers with technique, style, and versatility.

🎭 Styles: Commercial jazz, ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop

Female-identifying performers should be prepared to dance in both heels and flats. All dancers should be ready to learn multiple combinations during the audition.

Singer / Dancers

Singer/dancers should be exceptional dancers who can also confidently perform harmonies, featured vocal moments, and breakout solos.

Singer/dancers must first complete the Production Dancer call. Performers who make it to the end of the dance call will receive self-tape callback instructions with vocal materials from the casting team.
