Background Talent Needed for “911 Nashville”

Jenny Alison Casting is now seeking background talent for “911 Nashville,” a 20th Century Television project filming in the Nashville area. This is a paid, non-union background opportunity for local hires in Franklin, Tennessee, and surrounding areas.

The production is currently casting Black men and women ages 50 to 70 to portray family members of the groom in an upcoming wedding scene. Selected talent may appear as grandparents, aunts, or uncles during the scene.

Filming is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, and applicants must be fully available regardless of call time. The exact call time will not be released until the afternoon before filming, so talent should have flexible availability for the entire day.

The rate includes an 8-hour guarantee at $12.50 per hour, with time and a half paid after 8 hours.

Role Needed

This role is for a wedding scene, so talent should be comfortable working in a formal or family-style background setting.

Availability Requirement

Applicants must be able to commit to being on set for 12 or more hours if needed. Production may not require talent for the full amount of time, but anyone submitting must be available for a long filming day.

Because the call time will only be provided the afternoon before the shoot, applicants must be available regardless of the final call time.

Work Eligibility Notice

I-9 verification will be completed on set according to federal law. Talent must complete Section 1 of Form I-9 and provide acceptable original I-9 documents in order to work.

Applicants holding employer-specific nonimmigrant work visas sponsored by another employer or agent, such as O-1, P-1, or H-1B visas, cannot be considered. Production is unable to sponsor work visas for this project.
