A new true-crime recreation series titled Killer Grannies is now casting talent in the Knoxville, Tennessee area.
Hosted by Hollywood icon June Squibb, Killer Grannies explores shocking and unpredictable cases involving older women accused of serious crimes. Each episode follows investigators as they uncover hidden details, chase leads, and reveal the surprising truth behind cases where the suspect is someone no one expected: Grandma.
This is a non-union true crime recreation series for network television. The roles do not include scripted audio, but talent should be comfortable working with dramatic crime-related content.
About the Series
Killer Grannies focuses on real-life crime stories involving women who appeared sweet, harmless, and loving to the people around them. Behind that image, each case reveals a darker and more unexpected side.
The series uses recreated scenes to help tell these stories, showing how investigators, friends, and family members respond as each shocking case unfolds.
Because of the subject matter, applicants must be comfortable with content involving scripted violence, murder themes, and true-crime reenactments.
