NBC’s hit drama Chicago Fire is now filming its new 2027 season, and casting directors are looking for local talent to work as paid background actors in the Chicago area.
The long-running series, produced by Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf, follows the firefighters, paramedics, and rescue workers of the fictional Firehouse 51. Known for its intense emergency scenes, emotional character stories, and high-stakes rescues, Chicago Fire has become one of NBC’s most recognizable dramas and helped launch the successful One Chicago franchise, including Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med.
Filming will take place in the Chicago area, so applicants must be local to Chicago, the suburbs, or nearby border states to Illinois. Talent should also have full availability for the listed filming dates.
