Open Auditions for Wicked in Los Angeles

Singers and musical theater performers in Los Angeles have an exciting opportunity coming up. Open auditions have been announced for the Broadway Company and National Touring Company of Wicked, one of the most successful and beloved musicals in modern theater.

The production is looking for talented singers who move well and have strong vocal ability for both principal and ensemble roles. Performers of all genders and ethnicities are welcome to attend, and both Equity and non-Equity singers may audition.

The open call will be hosted by The Telsey Office, a major casting office known for working on many Broadway, touring, film, and television productions.

About the Audition

This open call is for singers ages 18 and older who have fantastic voices, wide vocal ranges, and the ability to move well on stage. Selected performers may be considered for roles in either the Broadway production or the national tour of Wicked.

No appointment is required, but singers must arrive within the required sign-up window to be considered.

What to Prepare

Singers should prepare 16 bars of a contemporary musical theater song to perform a cappella. The song should show vocal range and suit the performer’s voice.

Sopranos may choose to sing 16 bars of a traditional legit musical theater song instead.

Performers should also bring:

✅ A photo and resume stapled together
