Performers in the New Orleans area have a new opportunity to audition for professional entertainment jobs at sea. An open casting call for dancers, vocalists, and singer/dancers will be held in Metairie, Louisiana, on November 1, 2026.
The auditions will take place at MOVE Studio, 3508 Hessmer Ave, Metairie, LA 70002. No advance registration is required, and performers will be seen in the order they arrive.
This casting call is seeking versatile entertainers who can perform across a variety of musical and dance styles.

Vocalists
Tenor / Baritenor Vocalists
Casting performers in their 20s to 30s, approximately 5’8″ to 6’2″, of all ethnicities.
Ideal candidates should have strong pop/rock, R&B, and Motown abilities and be confident moving on stage. Vocal and performance inspirations include artists such as Bruno Mars, Elton John, Maroon 5, Rascal Flatts, and Stevie Wonder.
Performers should prepare two songs from the provided audition selections and bring a current headshot and resume.
Selected singers may also be invited to participate in a dance audition, so form-fitting dancewear should be brought to the call.
Mezzo / Belter Vocalists
Casting performers in their 20s to 30s, approximately 5’3″ to 5’9″, of all ethnicities.
The production is looking for strong mezzos with powerful belts and commanding stage presence. Candidates should be comfortable performing pop, rock, and contemporary musical theatre material.
Performance references include Little Mix, Aretha Franklin, Carrie Underwood, Tina Turner, and Adele.
Applicants should prepare two approved audition songs and bring a headshot and resume. Those invited to dance should have appropriate dancewear and heels available.
Production Dancers
Casting:
- Female-identifying dancers: 5’3″ to 5’9″
- Male-identifying dancers: 5’9″ to 6’2″
- All ethnicities
The team is seeking strong, athletic dancers with solid technique and versatility across commercial jazz, ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop. Tap experience is considered a plus.
Female-identifying performers should be prepared to dance in both heels and flats. All dancers should be ready to learn multiple combinations during the audition.
Singer / Dancers
Singer/dancers should be exceptional dancers who are also comfortable performing harmonies, solo features, and featured vocal moments.
Applicants should be:
- Female-identifying: 5’3″ to 5’9″
- Male-identifying: 5’9″ to 6’2″
- Primarily in their 20s to 30s
- Open to all ethnicities
Singer/dancer applicants must successfully complete the Production Dancer call. Those who advance through the dance audition will receive instructions for a vocal self-tape callback.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old to apply.
