A new non-union voice-over project is currently casting male talent for an upcoming recording session. The production is seeking experienced voices with a warm, conversational quality combined with a confident and authoritative tone.

Talent may record in person at a Toronto studio or remotely, making this opportunity available to qualified voice actors outside the Toronto area who have the required professional home studio equipment.

Casting is seeking:

👤 Male voice-over talent, ages 35–60
Non-union performers
Warm, friendly, and conversational delivery
Distinguished and mature vocal quality
A voice that communicates confidence and authority

The ideal performer should sound approachable and natural without losing the polished, credible quality needed for a professional commercial campaign.

Voice and Accent Requirements

The primary preference is for a Neutral North American accent, although other vocal styles may also be considered.

Casting is also open to:

🇨🇦 Neutral North American voices
🇬🇧 British accents
🎙️ Seasoned or mature-sounding voices

Talent should be comfortable adjusting their performance to match the creative direction provided during the recording session.

📅 Recording Details

Recording Date: Tuesday, September 22, 2026

Talent located in Toronto can attend the recording session in person at the studio.

Voice actors outside Toronto may record remotely, but they must have a professional home studio setup with Source Connect.

Selected remote talent will also be required to complete a connection test with the Canadian studio before the official recording date to confirm that their equipment and audio quality meet production requirements.

💰 Voice Over Rate

The session rate is:

CAD $600 – 20% agency fee

Additional overtime compensation will apply if the session runs longer:

💵 Hours 6–7: $50 per hour
💵 Hour 8 and beyond: $75 per hour

All listed rates are subject to a 20% agency fee.

🎧 Number of Commercial Spots

The selected voice actor will record multiple pieces of content, including:

1 × :60 spot
1 × :30 cutdown
1 × :15 cutdown
3 × :10 new spots
4 × :06 new spots

Applicants should therefore be comfortable maintaining a consistent voice and delivery across several different commercial lengths.

Toronto vs. Remote Talent

Toronto-based talent:
Recording will take place in person at the Toronto studio.

Talent outside Toronto:
Remote submissions are welcome only for performers who have a professional-quality home studio and Source Connect capability.

Because the recording date is approaching quickly, qualified talent should submit as soon as possible.
