ABC series 9-1-1: Nashville is currently filming in Tennessee, and local residents have a chance to appear on the show as paid background actors.

About “9-1-1: Nashville”

Set against the backdrop of Music City, 9-1-1: Nashville follows firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and other first responders as they navigate high-pressure emergencies alongside the personal challenges affecting their families and relationships.

The series is part of the popular 9-1-1 franchise and features a cast that includes Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, LeAnn Rimes, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley.

The show airs on ABC and is also available through Hulu.

Casting is specifically looking for all genders of Asian, Southeast Asian, and African descent for this particular multicultural scene.

Some selected extras may also be asked to use their personal vehicle on camera. Vehicles must not be white, and an additional $25 vehicle compensation will be provided. Applicants without a suitable vehicle may still submit.

Availability Requirements

Background actors should be prepared to commit to 12+ hours on set, although the production may not require everyone for the full amount of time.

The exact call time will not be provided until the afternoon before filming, so applicants must have full availability for the filming date.
