Chicago P.D. Casting Paid Extras for Episode 14008 in Chicago

NBC’s Chicago P.D. is currently casting paid background actors for Episode 14008, with filming taking place throughout the Chicagoland area.

The production is accepting general background submissions from adults, teens, and children, with roles open to a wide range of ages and appearances. Applicants must live within approximately two hours of Chicago, as this is a local-hire opportunity and travel expenses are not provided.

Pay Rates

💰 Adult / General Background: $136.40/8
💰 Minors Ages 3–15: $160/8
🚗 Vehicle Bump: Additional $35 if your vehicle is booked to appear parked on set

The adult background rate is a flat payment for up to eight hours, with time-and-a-half after eight hours.

Teens ages 16 and older receive the standard adult background rate.

Filming Availability

Casting is currently collecting availability between:

Filming takes place Monday through Friday only.

Call times may vary significantly and could include:

Early mornings
Day shoots
Late-night shoots
Overnight filming

Filming days typically run approximately 8–12 hours.

Applicants should only list a date as available if they have no time restrictions that day.

Casting is also checking whether applicants are willing to work:
