TBA Casting is seeking an Atlanta-based comedian / MC with scripted comedy experience (stand-up, sketch, or character work) to host a 70-minute live comedy experience paired with a guided wine tasting.
An Idiot’s Guide to Wine is a comedic show featuring six wine varietals from around the globe, blending stand-up comedy, storytelling, audience interaction, and fun, beginner-friendly wine facts. If you’re a strong live performer who can carry a room (and a script), this is a unique paid opportunity.

Role Overview

- ✅ Eligibility: Any gender/ethnicity encouraged
- 🔞 Minimum Age: 25
Requirements
- 🎭 Strong on-stage presence + comedy performance experience
- 📄 Comfortable learning and performing a 70-minute script
- 🍇 Basic wine knowledge (or genuine curiosity)
- 🕑 Willing to attend a show Saturday, 1/31 (afternoon) to gauge interest
- 🥂 Wine qualification (e.g., WSET) strongly preferred
- If needed, production will provide a 1-day online training course
Bonus skills:
- ✍️ Improv and comedy writing experience (a plus)
Compensation
- 💵 $800 per show day
- 💰 $1,000 prep stipend
