Casting Needs – Background Roles

We’re looking for Latinx adults who feel like real locals of Pueblo Viejo:

🍻 Domino Players (Latinx Men, ages 50–90)
- Weathered, hardworking men marked by years in the mines
- Must be comfortable portraying men who drink, smoke, and talk with a lived-in presence
💃 Dancing Couples (Latinx Men & Women, ages 20–30)
- Young, homegrown beauty, tender and affectionate
- Swaying close to a jukebox
- Must be comfortable dancing naturally with a partner (no formal training needed)
🥃 Bar Patron (1 Latinx Man, ages 30+)
- A solitary, brooding figure at the bar
- A man drinking away a long life of pain and memory
🍺 Bartender (1 Latinx Man, ages 30+)
- Steady, worn, and observant
- Feels like part of the cantina’s bones — someone who has seen it all

Requirements ✅

🌎 Latinx adults 18+
🕰️ Comfortable wearing late-1970s, period-appropriate wardrobe
🎭 Able to portray authentic Mexican villagers with expressive, lived-in presence
💃 For dancing couples: comfortable with intimate, natural partner dancing
