Exciting news for background talent in Nashville, TN! The hit 2021 Netflix musical “A Week Away” is getting a brand-new streaming series adaptation, and casting is officially underway 🎉

If you’ve ever dreamed of being on a film set, now’s your chance! 🎥 On Location Casting is looking for non-speaking, paid extras for various scenes — and some roles could even be recurring. No experience necessary!

📖 About the Series

The original movie A Week Away followed a troubled teen who finds redemption, friendship, and love at a Christian summer camp. The series continues that heartwarming, music-filled journey and is set to premiere on Netflix in Fall 2025. 🎶Now filming in Antioch, Tennessee, this new faith-based project promises inspiring stories, uplifting music, and plenty of campfire vibes.

📆 Shoot Dates & Availability

Shooting takes place from April 15 to May 3, 2025, and you can be booked for one or multiple dates depending on availability. Here are the key dates:

🗓️ April: 15, 17, 22, 23, 24 (Night), 25 (Night), 26 (Night), 29, 30
🗓️ May: 2, 3

⏰ Call times are TBD, so please keep your full day/evening open.

📍 Location: Antioch (Nashville area) – Local hires only
💼 Union Status: Non-union
💰 Rate: $80 for up to 8 hours + overtime after 8 hrs (approx. $140 for a full 12-hour day)
