Lights, camera, Chicago! NBC’s hit drama Chicago P.D. is now filming its 2025/2026 season and is officially casting non-speaking extras for upcoming episodes.
If you’ve ever wanted to step onto a real TV set and be part of a major network production, this is your chance. The series, created by Emmy-winning producer Dick Wolf (Law & Order), continues to film on location in Chicago, bringing its intense and gritty storytelling to life in the Windy City.
No acting experience? No problem. This opportunity is open to local residents ready to experience television production firsthand.

- ⏰ Call times are usually early morning; shoots typically last 8–12 hours
💵 Pay Rates
Adults (General Background)
- 💲 $132.80 / 8 hours (flat rate up to 8 hours)
- ⏳ Time + ½ after 8 hours
- 🚗 +$35 bump if your vehicle is booked on set
(No red or white vehicles)
Minors (15 & under)
- 💲 $160 / 8 hours
- 📄 Must provide a valid Universal Television work permit
👥 Who Can Apply?
