The Van Wert Civic Theatre has announced auditions for its holiday production of One Christmas Eve at Evergreen Mall, a heartwarming and funny Christmas play written by Lynne Halliday, James Hindman, Arlene Hutton, and Craig Pospisil.
Directed by Ashley Roberts, the show will run December 4–7 and December 11–14, 2025.

This holiday comedy-drama brings together eight short, funny, and heartfelt stories set on Christmas Eve at the Evergreen Mall. Expect:

- Ensemble play: Can be done with as few as 6 actors (two in their 20s, two in their 30s, two in their 40s)
- Cast can expand for a larger group with little to no doubling
