Crystal Lake Seeks Kids for Paid Background Roles in Horror Prequel

Does your child dream of being in a spooky, iconic horror series? 🎬 A24’s upcoming Friday the 13th prequel, Crystal Lake (working title: Mama’s Boy), is filming this summer in New York and New Jersey—and they’re casting kids ages 8–13 as background actors to play young campers at the eerie Crystal Lake campgrounds! 🏕️

No acting experience is required—just the right look and availability for filming from June through October 2025.

👻 About Crystal Lake:

Set in 1971, Crystal Lake dives into the early origins of the Friday the 13th universe, long before Jason put on the hockey mask. The series will unravel the story of Pamela Voorhees and the chilling legacy that started it all. Produced by A24, the show promises to deliver classic horror vibes with a stylish and haunting twist.

💵 Pay Rates:
