🎥 About the Show – M.I.A.

Created by Ozark’s co-creator Bill Dubuque, M.I.A. is a gritty, female-led crime thriller that explores the dark underbelly of South Florida’s criminal world.

📖 Plot Summary:

The show centers around Etta “Tiger” Jonze, who survives the brutal murder of her entire drug-running family. Fueled by revenge and resilience, Etta sets out to dismantle her enemies and build her own empire—ultimately rising as Miami’s most feared Queenpin. The title M.I.A. cleverly references both Miami’s airport code and Etta’s emotional descent into the shadows, as she becomes “missing in action” from her old life.

With comparisons to shows like Hotel Cocaine, Griselda, and Dexter, this is one Peacock original you won’t want to miss!
