Movie Extras Needed in Austin This Fall – Get Paid to Be On Set!

A new, currently untitled feature film is gearing up to shoot in Austin, Texas, and the casting team at Michael Druck Casting is looking for background actors to appear as paid extras. If you’ve ever wanted to experience a real movie set, this is your chance to jump in front of the camera (no experience required!).

• 📍 Location: Austin, Texas (primarily within the Austin city limits)
• 🎥 Project Type: Untitled feature film (Non-Union)
• 🗓️ Overall Film Dates: November 21 – December 17
• 🎭 Background Work Dates:
  • November 22
  • November 23
  • November 25
  • December 1
  • December 2
• 💵 Pay Rate: $125 for up to 12 hours ($125/12)
• 🧾 Union Status: Non-Union

You do not need to be available for every date to submit. You can still apply even if you’re only free on some of them.

   • No extreme close-ups
   • Photos do not need to be professional, but they should clearly show what you look like.
