Netflix “Unaccustomed Earth” Casting Extras in New York

Grant Wilfley Casting, Inc. is currently seeking Indian American / South Asian children to work as background extras for the upcoming Netflix streaming series “Unaccustomed Earth.”

Filming for this project is taking place in New York City, and the current casting update is specifically for children ages 9–11 to portray airport passengers.

Both SAG-AFTRA and non-union talent are encouraged to apply.

📺 About the Series (Quick Overview)

Unaccustomed Earth is an eight-episode dramatic adaptation of Jhumpa Lahiri’s acclaimed short story collection. The series is set within an upper-middle-class Indian American community and explores identity, family dynamics, cultural expectations, and emotional conflict.
