🦸 About the Play

At Silver Linings Retirement Home, a trio of retired superheroes—Power Man, Mighty Girl, Lightning Lex—discover their old nemesis Mr. Malevolent has moved in. With fading powers and fuzzy memories, can the Power Heroes rally for one last showdown? Expect action, comedy, and a heartfelt nod to classic caped adventures.

🎬 Roles Breakdown (all ethnicities)

POWER MAN (plays early 80s) – Former team leader; sharp senses, waning strength/memory.
- 🏃‍♂️ Physicality: occasional cane, a fall, helps “lift” others, light fight choreo ⚡
MIGHTY GIRL (plays mid-70s) – Still invulnerable; the trio’s encourager, torn by past choices.
- 💪 Physicality: helps “lift,” fight choreo 🥊
LIGHTNING LEX (plays late-70s) – Ex–fastest man alive; wheelchair user with arthritis; feisty wit.
- ♿ Ambulatory wheelchair user preferred; experience a plus
- 🏃 Physicality: wheelchair use, controlled “fall,” floor drag, brief stand/walk/throw, light fight choreo
KIRBY / MASKED MAN (plays early-70s) – Superfan turned resident; eager wannabe hero.
- 🤸 Physicality: falls/collapse, light fight choreo
MR. MALEVOLENT (plays mid-70s) – Mind-controlling, finger-zap archenemy; master manipulator.
NURSE CANDY (plays middle-aged) – Well-meaning, easily swayed nurse turned gleeful lackey.
RUTHIE (plays 70s–80s) – Grumpy resident who wants what she wants, heroes be damned.

Fight Style: Highly staged, Adam West Batman vibe (pows & bams).
