Norwegian Cruise Line Seeks Performers for Jersey Boys Onboard Production

Calling all musical theatre performers! 🎶
Norwegian Creative Studios is casting for their next high-seas hit: a full-scale production of the Tony Award-winning musical Jersey Boys, to be staged aboard Norwegian Cruise Line ships. Auditions will be held by appointment only in New York City on May 19, 2025, and submissions are now open!

🎵 About the Show

Based on the real-life journey of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Jersey Boys tells the rags-to-riches story of four working-class guys who became one of the most iconic pop groups in history. Directed by Des McAnuff, the show features unforgettable 1960s hits like Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry, and Walk Like a Man—with gritty storytelling and powerhouse vocals to match.

Rehearsals: September 20 – October 24, 2025
Board Ship: October 25, 2025
Contract Duration: Approximately 6 months
All roles are paid, non-Equity, and include:

⭐ Lead Roles:

Frankie Valli: Male, 20s–early 30s, 5’9” or under. Strong tenor with falsetto. Charismatic and heartfelt.
Bob Gaudio: Male, preferably tall. Tenor/Bari-tenor. Musical genius with a sensitive soul.
Tommy DeVito: Male, 30s. Tenor/Bari-tenor. Rough-edged “bad boy.” Guitar skills a bonus.
Nick Massi: Male, 30s. Bass/baritone. Silent strength with musical chops.

🎭 Supporting & Featured Roles:

Gyp DeCarlo: Male, 35–50. Mafioso type with vocal and dramatic presence.
Bob Crewe: Male, 30–40. Flamboyant, artistic, full of energy.
Joe Pesci: Male, 20s–early 30s, 5’9” or under. High energy and comedic timing. Understudies Frankie.
Barry Belson: Male, 20s–40s. Non-Caucasian. Strong R&B voice.

👯‍♀️ Ensemble Roles:

Three Women: Females, 20s–mid 30s. Strong vocalists who can harmonize and shift between roles.
Two Men: Males, 20s–40s. Versatile actors/singers. One must have strong baritone range.
