Peacock’s New Crime Thriller “M.I.A.” Now Casting Paid Extras in Miami

Peacock has greenlit a gritty, female-led crime series titled M.I.A., and filming is now underway across South Florida. With production led by Ozark co-creator Bill Dubuque, and starring a powerful lead character on a path of revenge and reinvention, this promises to be one of 2025’s most intense dramas.

Set across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties, M.I.A. follows Etta “Tiger” Jonze, a woman who rises from the ashes of her family’s murder to become the city’s most feared criminal queenpin. The show’s title references both Miami’s airport code and Etta’s descent into the underworld.
