🎭 Roles Available

Doris

Initial (1951): 24, naive, timid Oakland housewife, guilt-ridden after first tryst
Later years: Evolves into a savvy businesswoman, goes through a hippie phase in the 1960s, and matures into a wise, confident woman by the 1970s

George

Initial (1951): 27, neurotic NJ accountant, bumbling but romantic, guilt-ridden over the affair
Later years: Grows more conservative in the 1960s, remains neurotic and comedic, becomes widowed and eventually proposes marriage to Doris (who refuses)
