The film “Firebones” is seeking talent from the Dallas, TX area to be Extras in the upcoming production. There are numerous roles available.

The story revolves around the mysterious disappearance of a woman named Amra Boustani, a ferry pilot who moonlights as a preacher. Fictionalized versions of poet Greg Brownderville (who grew up in the Delta) and filmmaker Bart Weiss go to the Delta to enjoy the region’s much-vaunted delicacies. While in the area, they get swept up in the mystery surrounding Amra’s disappearance.

Roles:

Town folk at the church (Background / Extra): Males & Females, 18+
Shoots January 5th; any age, gender or ethnicity. These will be the people that will be at the church as part of the Laguionie celebration

Red Wing Black Birds (Background / Extra): Males & Females, 7-13
Shoots January 5th; kids ages from 7 to 11 years old. Any gender and ethnicity. These will be the kids who are dressed up as red wing blackbirds as part of the Laguionie celebration at the firebones church.

Town folk at the silo (Background / Extra): Males & Females, 18+
Shoots January 6th; any age, gender or ethnicity. These will be the folks that will be present at the silo in support of the firebones church

Protesters (Background / Extra): Males & Females, 18+
Shoots January 6th; Any age, gender or ethnicity. These will be the people present at the silo who will be protesting against the firebones church.

Pie supper folks (Background / Extra): Males & Females, 18+
Shoots January 8th; Any age, gender or ethnicity. These will be the folks who will be part of the pie supper scene where everyone sits together and have supper.
