Unity House Players is holding open call auditions for their spring musical “The Prom” in Springfield, Massachusetts. This heartwarming and hilarious show follows four fading Broadway stars who take on a small-town prom controversy—shining a spotlight on acceptance, community, and love.

Rehearsal Schedule (Expected)
- 🗓️ Mostly Wed & Thu evenings + Sun afternoons
- ⏳ Begins mid-February (with occasional Tues/Fri rehearsals)
- ✅ Not everyone will be called every day—make sure your availability is accurate
What to Prepare
- 🎤 16–32 bars (about 1 minute) of a song in the style of the show
- 🎭 A 1-minute comic monologue showing strong character and your style
- 💃 Be ready to learn a short movement combo (dance call included)
Important Notes
- 🎹 No accompanist provided
- Bring a track on an aux-cable compatible device or be ready to sing a cappella
- 📄 Resume encouraged (not required)
- 📸 Photos/video may be taken at auditions
- 📌 Be familiar with the show, character needs, and schedules
