Calling the next generation of ballet talent in Chicagoland! A&A BALLET has announced open auditions for its Spring 2026 performance of “Swan Lake.” Dancers ages 6–24 are invited to audition—welcoming all dance styles and skill levels.
Co-Founder & Artistic Director Alexei Kremnev describes the production as a milestone for the company, honoring the classical romantic tradition while adding fresh dramatic intensity and passion. The performance will feature original choreography by Kremnev and Reznik, aiming to bring the story’s magic and drama vividly to life.

What to Expect at the Audition
- 🎭 Basic dance movements + a short combination performed in character
- 📌 No prepared audition material needed
- 📧 Casting updates sent via email within one week after auditions

Girls
- 🩰 Black camisole leotard
- 🩷 Pink footed tights
- 🥿 Pink canvas ballet shoes + pointe shoes (age/level appropriate)
Boys
- 🖤 Black footed tights or black dance shorts
- 🤍 White, tight fitted t-shirt
- 🥿 Black or skin-colored ballet shoes
