The new series “911: Nashville” is currently filming in Tennessee, and casting directors are looking for local residents to work as paid background actors.
Casting directors at Jenny Alison Casting are seeking Nashville-area locals for non-union background work on the upcoming ABC series. The show is part of the popular 9-1-1 franchise and will air on ABC and stream on Hulu.
Set in one of America’s most exciting and culturally rich cities, “911: Nashville” follows the lives of first responders, including firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and the families connected to their high-pressure world. The series blends dramatic emergencies, personal stories, courage, sacrifice, and the unique atmosphere of Nashville’s music scene and Southern charm.
The show also features a notable cast, including Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, LeAnn Rimes, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley. It was created by Ryan Murphy, Tim Minear, and Brad Falchuk, the creative team behind major television hits such as 9-1-1 and Glee. The project is executive produced by a strong team that includes Angela Bassett and Rashad Raisani.

Roles Needed
Casting is looking for all genders, ages 18–65, to portray hospital-related background roles, including:

Applicants should be comfortable working in a professional filming environment and must be available for the full day.
Pay Rate
Selected background actors will be paid $100 for 8 hours, with an 8-hour guarantee. Overtime will be paid at time and a half after 8 hours.
Talent must be able to commit to being on set for 12+ hours, even though production may not need everyone for the full amount of time. The exact call time will not be available until the afternoon before filming, so applicants must have full availability regardless of call time.

Important Work Eligibility Notice
I-9 verification will be completed on set in accordance with federal law. Anyone selected must complete Section 1 of Form I-9 and provide acceptable original I-9 documents. Applicants who cannot provide the required documentation will not be permitted to work.
The production is unable to sponsor work visas. Individuals holding employer-specific nonimmigrant work visas sponsored by another employer or agent, such as O-1, P-1, or H-1B visas, cannot be considered.
