Robeson County Christmas Show Auditions Open in Lumberton, NC

Holiday magic is coming back to Lumberton, North Carolina, and local performers now have the chance to be part of one of the region’s most beloved seasonal productions. The 15th Annual Robeson County Christmas Show is holding open auditions for kids and adults who are ready to sing, dance, and shine on stage.

Presented at the historic Carolina Civic Center & Historic Theater in downtown Lumberton, the Robeson County Christmas Show has become a cherished holiday tradition for families and audiences across the area. For more than a decade, the production has brought festive music, joyful performances, and community spirit to the stage, making it a favorite part of the Christmas season.

This year, the theater is looking for talented performers to join several exciting roles in the show, including the Kids Ensemble, The Civettes dance ensemble, and one featured male dancer.

Kids Ensemble — Singers and Dancers 🎄

Date: Friday, August 14
Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

The Kids Ensemble is open to enthusiastic young performers who enjoy singing, dancing, and being part of a live stage production. Auditionees should prepare a Christmas song or another vocal selection that best showcases their voice.

Even if a child is mainly interested in dancing, all Kids Ensemble auditionees should be prepared to sing during the audition.

The Civettes and Featured Male Dancer 💃

Date: Sunday, August 16
Time: 3:00 PM

The production is also seeking strong dancers with excellent technique, stage presence, and performance quality. The Civettes are the show’s featured female dance ensemble, known for bringing energy and style to the production.

This season, the show is also casting one featured male dancer who will appear in multiple production numbers. Dancers auditioning for these roles should be prepared to dance and showcase their performance skills.

Callbacks

Potential callbacks are scheduled for Monday, August 17. Selected performers may be invited to attend additional auditions.

Dance auditions for the Kids Ensemble will take place during callbacks by invitation only.
