Nashville Casting Call: Roadies and Sound Engineers Needed

A faith-based feature film titled “A Music City Story” is now casting paid background talent in the Nashville, Tennessee area.

Casting directors are looking for local performers to work as non-union background actors for the film’s final listed work date. This opportunity is open to Nashville-area locals only, including those in surrounding areas who are available to work on set.

“A Music City Story” is seeking background talent to help bring its production scenes to life. Since the project is filming in Nashville, selected talent should be comfortable working in a professional film environment and prepared for a full day on set.

Roles Needed

Casting is currently looking for:

🎧 Males ages 25–55
🎸 Roles portraying roadies
🎚️ Roles portraying sound engineers

Applicants should have a look that fits a music or production environment and be available for the full filming day.

Pay Rate

Selected background actors will be paid:

💵 $100 for 8 hours
⏰ 8-hour guarantee
➕ Time and a half after 8 hours

Talent must be able to commit to being on set for 12+ hours. Production may not need everyone for the entire time, but applicants must have full availability.

The exact call time will not be available until the afternoon before filming, so anyone submitting must be available regardless of the final call time.

Photos should be recent, clear, and natural. Do not use filters. Applicants should not wear hats or sunglasses in the photos, and the images must clearly show current hairstyle and appearance.

Important Work Eligibility Notice

I-9 verification will be completed on set in accordance with federal law. Anyone selected must complete Section 1 of Form I-9 and provide acceptable original I-9 documents in order to work.

Applicants who cannot provide the required documentation will not be permitted on set.

The production is unable to sponsor work visas. Individuals holding employer-specific nonimmigrant work visas sponsored by another employer or agent, such as O-1, P-1, or H-1B visas, cannot be considered.
