Paid Background Casting for “Saltwater” Pilot in Kure Beach

TW Cast & Recruit is now casting for the upcoming pilot project Saltwater, filming in Kure Beach, North Carolina. The production is seeking people who fit the listed roles and are available to work on August 5, 2026.

This is a paid background opportunity for talent in the North Carolina area. Selected performers will receive guaranteed pay of $96 for 8 hours, with time and a half paid for every hour worked after the 8th hour.

Roles Currently Casting

🔹 Workers / Blue Collar Types
Casting males, all ethnicities, ages 20s to 50s. Talent should have the look of someone who does manual labor or blue-collar work.

🔹 Walking Ladies
Casting females, all ethnicities, ages 40s to 60s.

🔹 Hispanic Worker with Truck
Casting Hispanic males, ages 18 and older, available for August 5.

Applicants for this role must have access to an appropriate truck. The casting team is looking for vehicles that are not white or red. Be sure to update your vehicle information in Castgen before submitting.

Important Production Notes

Talent should be prepared for a full production day. Call times, filming location, and wardrobe details will be sent the day before filming.

Please keep in mind:

✅ Call times may be as early as 5:00 AM
✅ Some call times may be scheduled later in the evening
✅ Filming days may last 12 hours or more
✅ Applicants must be fully available before submitting
✅ Booking requests must be confirmed if selected

All selected talent must also complete I-9 verification on set in accordance with federal law. Applicants must complete Section 1 of Form I-9 and bring acceptable original I-9 documents. Those who do not provide the required documents will not be permitted to work.

Production is unable to sponsor work visas. Individuals with employer-specific nonimmigrant work visas sponsored by another employer or agent cannot be considered.
