Open auditions are coming to the New Orleans area for talented dancers, vocalists, and singer/dancers interested in performer jobs at sea. The audition will take place on November 1, 2026, at MOVE Studio 3508 in Metairie, Louisiana.
This open call is seeking strong, versatile performers who can bring energy, stage presence, and technical skill to professional entertainment productions. No pre-registration is required, and talent will be seen in the order they arrive.

This audition is open to performers 18 years of age or older. The casting team is looking for dancers, vocalists, and singer/dancers across all ethnicities who are ready for high-energy entertainment work.
✨ Vocalist Roles
The vocalist call is seeking tenor/baritenor vocalists and mezzo/belter vocalists, generally in their 20s to 30s.
Tenor and baritenor vocalists should be dynamic performers with strong pop, rock, R&B, and Motown sensibilities. The team is looking for singers who can move very well and easily shift between musical genres. Vocal references include artists such as Bruno Mars, Elton John, Maroon 5, Rascal Flatts, and Stevie Wonder.
Mezzo/belter vocalists should have a strong belt, leading-lady presence, and the ability to perform across pop, rock, contemporary musical theatre, and other commercial styles. Vocal references include Little Mix, Aretha Franklin, Carrie Underwood, Tina Turner, and Adele.
Vocalists should prepare two songs from the provided audition selections and bring a current headshot and resume. Select vocalists may be asked to stay and dance, so performers should also bring appropriate form-fitting dancewear. Mezzo/belter vocalists should bring heels if invited to the dance portion.
🕺 Production Dancers
The production dancer call is seeking strong, athletic dancers with solid technique, style, and versatility. Female-identifying dancers should be between 5’3” and 5’9”, while male-identifying dancers should be between 5’9” and 6’2”.
Dancers should have training in commercial jazz, ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop. Tap is considered a plus. Female-identifying performers should be prepared to dance in both heels and flats, and all dancers should be ready to learn multiple combinations during the audition.
🎶 Singer/Dancers
Singer/dancers should be exceptionally talented performers who can complete the production dancer call while also having the vocal ability to sing harmonies, breakout solos, and featured parts with confidence.
Female-identifying singer/dancers should be between 5’3” and 5’9”, while male-identifying singer/dancers should be between 5’9” and 6’2”. Singer/dancers are generally being considered in the 20s to 30s age range and must be at least 18 years old to apply.
Performers who make it to the end of the dance call may receive self-tape callback instructions with vocal materials from the casting team.
This New Orleans-area open call is a great opportunity for performers who are ready to take their skills beyond the traditional stage and explore professional entertainment work at sea.
