911 Nashville, the 20th Century Television series filming in Tennessee, is currently casting paid background talent for an upcoming scene in the Nashville area.

Casting is looking for men and women ages 18–70 to portray “looky loos,” or curious onlookers/bystanders, for filming on Wednesday, October 14.

This is a non-union background opportunity, and applicants must be able to work as local hires in Nashville or the surrounding area.

Casting is open to all genders within the requested age range.

Pay and Availability

The rate is $100 for up to 8 hours, based on an eight-hour guarantee at $12.50 per hour.

After eight hours, applicable overtime is paid at time-and-a-half.

Applicants must be able to commit to being on set for 12+ hours if needed. Production may not use background performers for the full 12 hours, but everyone submitting must be prepared for a long filming day.

The exact call time will not be available until the afternoon before filming, so talent must remain fully available regardless of the eventual start time.

Local Hire Requirement

This casting call is for Nashville-area local hires only.

Applicants should live in Nashville or be able to work in the surrounding area without requiring travel or accommodation from production.

A Tennessee driver’s license or ID is not required, but casting asks applicants to indicate whether they have one.
