A new TV pilot titled “Preston” is now casting African American talent in Brooklyn, New York.
The production is seeking adults, teens, and kids for lead and supporting roles. Casting directors are looking for naturalistic performers with strong presence, subtle emotional depth, and authentic screen energy.
Filming will take place over a two-day shoot on May 23 and May 24. Talent must be available for both dates. Local actors are strongly preferred, as travel expenses will not be provided.

Lamar — Lead Role
Age: 14–20, must convincingly portray a teen
Lamar has effortless Brooklyn energy. He is confident, witty, naturally charismatic, and socially instinctive. As Preston’s cousin and guide into the neighborhood, Lamar brings energy and connection to the story.
Beneath his street-aware confidence, Lamar has emotional depth and complexity.
