About Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike
Written by Christopher Durang, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike is an award-winning comedy that explores sibling rivalry, family relationships, and the challenges of growing older.
The story follows Vanya and Sonia, two middle-aged siblings living a quiet life in their family’s Pennsylvania farmhouse.
Their peaceful routine is disrupted when their glamorous movie-star sister, Masha, arrives with her much younger boyfriend, Spike. Things quickly spiral into hilarious chaos when Masha announces plans to sell the family home.
Blending sharp humor with emotional moments, the play offers performers an opportunity to showcase both comedic and dramatic abilities.
