Jenny Alison Casting is currently seeking Nashville-area background talent for the upcoming faith-based feature film “A Music City Story.” This is a non-union background casting opportunity for local hires in Nashville, Tennessee and surrounding areas.
The production is looking for adults to portray Karaoke Barn Patrons in scenes with an upscale, stylish country atmosphere. Talent should have a polished and authentic look that feels more like Franklin or Leiper’s Fork rather than a tourist-style country vibe.
Selected background performers must be available for both filming dates, as this role requires a two-day commitment.

Role Being Cast
🎭 Karaoke Barn Patrons
Production is seeking people of all genders, ages 18–65, to portray patrons in a karaoke barn setting.
The ideal look is stylish, polished, and country-inspired. Think upscale Franklin or Leiper’s Fork energy — authentic, tasteful, and put-together, rather than overly touristy or costume-like.
A handful of background performers who are comfortable with line dancing or the two-step are also needed. Dancing ability is not required to be booked, but applicants who enjoy dancing should mention it in their submission.
Pay Rate
💵 Rate: $100 for up to 8 hours
⏱️ Overtime: Time and a half after 8 hours
Talent must be able to commit to being on set for 12+ hours if needed. The production may not require everyone for that long, but applicants must be available for a full filming day.
Call time will not be available until the afternoon before filming, so talent must be available regardless of the final call time.
