Lights, camera, Miami! 🌴 Peacock has officially kicked off production on its gritty new crime thriller “M.I.A.”, and casting directors are now looking for locals in South Florida to work as paid background extras throughout the summer of 2025. If you’ve ever dreamed of stepping onto a major TV set—this is your shot!
🔍 About the Series
“M.I.A.” is a female-led, high-stakes crime drama created by Ozark co-creator Bill Dubuque. Set across the sun-soaked yet sinister streets of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe Counties, the series tells the gripping story of Etta “Tiger” Jonze—a woman whose life takes a dark turn after witnessing the massacre of her entire family.
Determined to seek revenge and build her own criminal empire, Etta transforms from an orphaned victim into Miami’s most feared Queenpin. The title “M.I.A.” cleverly doubles as both Miami’s airport code and a metaphor for Etta’s descent into the city’s criminal underworld—becoming “missing in action” from her old life.
