Casting Call: Be a Background Extra on Chicago Med 2026 Season

NBC’s hit medical drama Chicago Med is gearing up for its 2026 season and casting directors are now seeking local background actors for upcoming episodes, including Episode 11014.

If you live within about 2 hours of Chicago, are 18+ and out of high school, this is your chance to step onto the Med set as a paid extra. The team is also collecting newborn submissions for hospital scenes.

General Background Details

• 👥 Roles: General background (hospital staff, patients, visitors, etc.)
• 🌎 Who: Any gender, any ethnicity, ages 18+
• 📍 Location: Chicagoland area (must live within 2 hours of Chicago)
• 💵 Rate:
  • $132.80/8 flat for up to 8 hours
  • Time-and-a-half after 8 hours
  • +$35 bump if booked with your vehicle (no red or white cars)

  • List all dates you’re fully available between Wed 12/10 and Fri 12/19 (Mon–Fri only, 8–12 hr days, usually early call times)
