Georgia’s Central Casting is now taking submissions from men and women who are local to the Atlanta area for background, featured extras, stand-ins and photo doubles for upcoming scenes on “Star” from the Academy Award nominated Lee Daniels.
The show centers around Star Davis, a 17-year-old girl who had a rough upbringing but, along with her sister Simone, has her sights set on becoming a music star. The sisters hook up with the wealthy daughter of a well known singer to form their girl group. The girls move to Atlanta and connect with Queen Latifah’s character who helps them go after their dreams.
