Chicago Fire Casting Call for Female Child Photo Double in Chicago

NBC’s hit drama Chicago Fire is currently filming its 2026 season in the Chicagoland area, and casting directors are seeking a female child photo double for an upcoming production date.

Produced in Chicago, Chicago Fire is part of NBC’s interconnected One Chicago franchise, alongside shows such as Chicago P.D.. Since premiering in 2012, the series has followed the firefighters, rescue teams, and paramedics of Firehouse 51 as they face dangerous emergencies while balancing their personal and professional lives.

This latest casting notice is open to talent who are local to Chicago, the surrounding suburbs, or nearby states bordering Illinois.

Female Child Photo Double Needed

Casting is looking for a child who closely matches the actor’s appearance for wide shots, inserts, and other scenes where a photo double may be used.

Requirements:

Female child
Caucasian
Ages 10–13
Height: 4’9” to 4’11”
Slender to medium build
Black hair
Must be local to the Chicago area, suburbs, or surrounding border states

This is a non-speaking paid role.

Pay Rate

💵 $170 for up to 6 hours
Additional time will be paid at time-and-a-half after 6 hours.

Filming Dates

The exact work dates are currently TBD and are expected to be announced soon.

Production will also provide a studio teacher for three hours each day on set, allowing the child performer to complete schoolwork during filming.

Children must have a Joan Philo Casting work permit. Families who do not currently have one may receive instructions from casting on how to obtain the required permit.
