Lights, camera, action — NBC’s hit drama “Chicago Fire” is officially in production for its new 2025 season, and casting directors are now booking paid background actors to work on set in the Chicago area.

Produced by Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf (creator of the iconic Law & Order franchise), Chicago Fire follows the brave firefighters, paramedics, and rescue teams of the fictional Firehouse 51. The action-packed series has also inspired successful spin-offs including Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med.
