Eight O’Clock Theatre is now holding auditions for its upcoming production of Come From Away in Largo, Florida. The acclaimed musical, based on the remarkable true story of stranded airline passengers and the compassionate community that welcomed them after September 11, 2001, will take the stage this September.

Audition Requirements

Those planning to audition should prepare the following:

  • 🎵 16 bars of a song in your key that best showcases your voice
  • 🎹 Sheet music for the accompanist
  • 🚫 No a cappella performances
  • 🚫 No recorded music
  • 👟 Proper dance attire must be worn or brought
  • 🩴 No sandals or flip-flops
  • 📄 Bring a current resume and headshot if available
  • 📅 Be prepared to list any rehearsal conflicts

There may also be readings from the script during the audition process.

Rehearsal Schedule

Rehearsals are expected to take place:

  • 📆 Monday through Thursday evenings
  • ☀️ Sunday afternoons

Performers should be ready to disclose scheduling conflicts during the rehearsal period at auditions.
