On Location Casting is now seeking background talent for the Netflix series “Free Bert”, filming in the Atlanta, Georgia area and surrounding locations.
This casting call is focused on wrestling-related roles, including real wrestlers, wrestling referees, wrestling coaches, and wrestling fans/spectators. Applicants must be able to work as Atlanta-area local hires, as transportation, accommodation, and travel compensation will not be provided.

Applicants must keep the full day and evening available, as exact call and wrap times have not yet been released.
Pay Rates 💵
- Fitting Rate: $42 for up to 2 hours, with overtime after 2 hours
- Filming Rate: $150 for up to 12 hours guaranteed
- Overtime: Paid after 12 hours
Talent will still receive the guaranteed filming rate if they work less than 12 hours, but applicants should plan for full 12-hour filming days.
Roles Available
Real Wrestlers 🤼
Casting is seeking real male wrestlers who are age 18 or older but can look younger.
Role requirements:
- Male talent
- Ages 18+ to look younger
- All ethnicities
- Must have real wrestling experience
- Must currently wrestle or have wrestled in the past
- Must move naturally on a wrestling mat
- Must understand proper wrestling techniques and etiquette
Production is looking for athletes who know what they are doing and can perform safely. If you have already submitted as a wrestler, you do not need to submit again, as you are already being considered by the director.
Wrestlers should include:

- Weight class, if applicable

Wrestling Referees 🧑⚖️
Casting is seeking real wrestling referees with officiating experience.
Role requirements:
- Male and female talent
- Ages 18+
- All ethnicities
- Must have experience officiating wrestling matches
High school, collegiate, freestyle, Greco-Roman, youth, club, and other wrestling officiating experience are welcome.
Referees should include details about their officiating background.
Wrestling Coaches 📋
Casting is seeking real wrestling coaches with coaching experience at any level.
Role requirements:
- Male and female talent
- Ages 18+
- All ethnicities
- Must have real coaching experience
Experience may include youth, club, high school, collegiate, or private training.
Coaches should include their coaching background and years of experience.
Wrestling Fans and Spectators 📣
Casting is also seeking energetic individuals to portray wrestling fans attending a match.
Role requirements:
- Male and female talent
- Ages 18+
- All ethnicities
- Energetic and expressive
- Wrestling knowledge is a plus, but not required

- Photos should show your current look
- Everyday attire is acceptable
- Wrestlers are encouraged to include athletic photos as well
Important Notes
This casting call is for local hires who can self-drive to the Atlanta area and surrounding rural locations. Applicants must not require a flight, travel reimbursement, transportation, or accommodation.
Talent must be fully available for both filming dates with no exceptions.
