On Location Casting is currently seeking featured background talent for the Netflix series “Free Bert”, filming in the Atlanta, Georgia area and nearby surrounding areas.
This casting opportunity is for Atlanta-area local hires only. Talent may live out of state, but must be within a reasonable self-drive distance to Atlanta and should not require travel compensation, flights, transportation, or accommodation.

Talent should keep the full day and evening available, as exact call and wrap times have not yet been released.
Pay Rates 💵
- Fitting Rate: $37.50 for up to 2 hours, with overtime after 2 hours
- Filming Rate: $150 for up to 12 hours guaranteed
- Overtime: Paid if work exceeds 12 hours
Even if filming ends before 12 hours, talent will still receive the guaranteed filming rate. However, applicants should plan for a full 12-hour day.
Featured Background Roles
Executive Chef 👨🍳
Casting is seeking men and women to portray an upscale executive chef.
Role requirements:
- Male and female talent
- All ethnicities
- Age range: late 30s to 60s
- Conservative, professional, clean-cut appearance
- Upscale and confident look
- Real culinary experience as a chef or cook is preferred
Applicants with actual kitchen, chef, or cooking experience are strongly encouraged to submit.
Upscale Servers 🍽️
Casting is also seeking talent to portray upscale servers.
Role requirements:
- Male and female talent
- All ethnicities
- Age range: 21–45
- Conservative and professional appearance
- Upscale, polished, and attractive look
- Must have previous wait staff or server experience
Applicants should have real experience working as a server, waiter, waitress, or wait staff.

Photo Guidelines
Please include a minimum of two recent photos:
- One close-up photo
- One full-body standing photo
Cell phone photos are preferred over professional headshots. Photos should be clear, current, and unfiltered. You must be the only person in the photo, with no sunglasses or hats.
Applicants should dress in attire that best represents the role they are submitting for. Since these are upscale roles, polished and professional wardrobe is recommended.
Important Notes
This casting is for featured background roles, so professional presentation and real-world experience are important. Talent must be fully available for both tentative filming dates and must be able to work as a local hire in the Atlanta area.
